Chaparral Mexican Grill in Cocoa

Chips n salsa are good. Cheese came out in a fried tortilla shell. Geat idea. House margarita was good and strong. Won't need many of these to get tipsy. Pork chops were tender and flavorful. Service was great!

First time and a delightful experience throughout our visit. The food was good, had the lechón and the steak burrito (not all for me)! Our server María was such a sweetheart, very attentive, friendly, kind and didnt hover but was available. Very glad we stopped in.

I ordered through door dash and when the food got here it was sloppily made and put inside containers with no care.The food was DISGUSTING and the salsa tasted old and musty. Over all I will NEVER order from here again. Nauseating experience. Food DEFINITELY not worth the price.

Went to try them out for the first time tonight with a to go order and won’t be back. Smelled bad inside, received bad service from the beginning (even from the manager) and the food was bad/cold even though I tried it as soon as I got in my car and took 15min to get there. Walked right back in to get it replaced and the manager said no. Tried to support a small business when I could’ve just left Taco Bell happily....

Delicious 😋 authentic taste with a friendly staff and atmosphere. They're doing everything possible to keep everyone safe, distancing out tables so guests aren't too close and requesting while not at the table that all guests wear masks as well. Amazing dishes with fresh ingredients.

We had Berny as our server and she was awesome! She explained all of the drink and meal options, best specials, and the most popular menu items. She explained each item we asked about in detail. We tried several of their appetizers and shared them amongst ourselves. A few in our group tried their margaritas, but the rims had sugar instead of salt. Berny quickly had the issued fixed. Our appetizers were amazing. Our beverages stayed filled. There was so much food we all had boxes to take home! They have a Taco Tuesday special with a variety of different flavors to try. Our group of ladies are tempted to come back and give it a try!

Food is pretty bad. Got taco Tuesday 4 tacos tried the chicken one in the parking lot before I went home (40 minute drive) and it was ice cold. Came back in to see if they can do anything for me and the owner said I must have took to long to pick it up cus he saw me walking around ? When I just arrived and watch the server bring my food from the kitchen.. he actually thought another order was mine but mine wasn’t ready yet. So I wouldn’t recommend this trash food to anyone. Poor customer as well. If the owner couldn’t help me heat up my “freshly made” tacos. Joke.. this is a 1 out of 5 for Mexican food

I've been multiple times and the food here is ALWAYS AMAZING! 10/10 Highly recommend. Food is as authentic as my mothers cooking. Literally closest thing to home food as I could have found. I always want to take pictures of the food, but never remember to because the smell and looks of the food just make me completely forget to do anything but eat! And that is an honest compliment!Staff is always so nice and patient (but not slow), if that makes sense. They are always going by and filling your drink even if they weren't your server. Top notch service!Definitely would recommend to any friends or family. And I will definitely be a returning customer.

Atmospherewas great. Service was the best.Big portions, but not goodtaste. One of the plates I ordered was Cuban food (ropa vieja) 2* stars on flavor.Churrasco was ok, not my favorite 3* stars.Flautas were good.4* stars on flavor.

This place is SO good! The portions are great and they are so friendly. I’m pregnant and have been CRAVING their good! Will definitely be back soon! ❤️

Meats were good. Rice and refried were bland...felt like canned beans and box rice. Service and courtesy was amazing as always. Deserts were very good and price was good as well.

Husband had dinner with a friend last night, and when he got gone, he vomited all his food he ate, and be was so sick he missed today and still in bed. He had chicken tacos, rice, beans, salad dip with sweet tea.

Enchiladas served in stale, hard and cold soft corn tortillas I couldn't cut with a fork, and only a great deal of effort with a knife. Plate and ingredients were cold to the touch. Horrible taste.

Stopped in while visiting on vacation and wow did was a solid 10 and service was great! Carne asada was delicious! Will come back before leaving town! Good food and service

We have ordered food from here twice. The first time everything was very good however this time the carne asada tacos were burnt and the meat was very fatty and my wife was not able to eat them. They missed our request for additional salsa as well. The ground beef chimichanga platter was great and the stuffed jalapeños didn’t disappoint so I think had we skipped the tacos we would have enjoyed this one as well.

Excellent Sangria and Mexican food, but my favorite is the Cuban menu with the black beans and rice that rivals my mother’s home cooking. ❤️

Being Mexican myself I’m always skeptical of places that advertise Mexican food, and being honest I was even more of this one being Mexican and Cuban but went in anyways. The food was pretty good and the pozole was really tasty and had the authentic flavors cause in other places that can be a total letdown. What stood out to me the most tho was my server Maribel. I had several questions since there were dishes with elements of other Latin countries and she patiently answered every question, provided good suggestions and what she wasn’t sure she went and found the answers for me. She was so attentive, polite, and overall a great server. Thanks again!

Rice and bean burrito was small. Meat, rice, and bean bowl is good but order came out with steak instead of carnitas. Waitress fixed it real fast. Good place to order combination plates.

Beautifully decorated. Staff is really nice. Food is delicious . Deserves 5 stars. They have separate menu for vegetarian and vegan as well. They will serve you in decent time after you order. Not too expensive reasonable pricing.

Overall it was good! Chips are warm and the crew. Salsa was spicy just how I like it. Enchiladas weee food and beef fajitas were as well. We got agua de horchata and it’s real! Not powder.

Fist time out on a long time, great service, very clean, and felt super safe enjoying a huge taco salad.

The frozen Coco Loco was delicious, and perfectly blended. The staff was great, even at the peak of lunch hour. Spinach enchiladas are something I could've never expected, and were absolutely delicious. The mushroom sauce on top, sprinkled with cheese were outta this world good, and the spinach and onion inside were fresh and perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be back!

Restaurant kind of had a weird smell while we were there by the front entrance. But at the seats it was fine. But food was amazing; delicious and filling.

Great Mexican food. Prices were reasonable for lunch, $10.25 for lunchtime fajitas. Little light on the amount of skirt steak included with the dish. Chips were good, and the salsa was nice and spicy. Not a fan of the queso.

Always great fun, Monday nights are bogo margaritas. They have several flavors and are always very accommodating.

It was really, really great. My friend got the enchiladas and I enjoyed the grilled chicken breast over rice at the waitresses recommendation and it was very, very good. I finished it off with the fried ice cream which was the best I've ever had and our waitress Myra was just fantastic. Can't recommend this place strongly enough.Rick W

Pretty good. More "Tex Mex" (I don't appreciate "Americanized" Mexican food). Looking for a place that serves good, regional Mexican food. Restaurant menu inticates a "Guatemalan" flavor, but it wasn't. Server was very sweet and took good care of us though.

The food was amazing and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is a little dated but do not let that put you off. The food was great!!

This is one 9f our favorite Cocoa area Mexican restaurants. We never have to wait for a table. I suggest the margaritas with top shelf liquor instead of house mix. Dont forget the hot salsa! It mixed with fresh guacamole is a must for your experience here. I will also add that the staff was very accommodating to our party that arrived late. We did not feel rushed for table turn over.

Tried the fajitas for 2. Shrimp & chicken were great but the steak had an odd flavor. Had to ask for cheese & sour cream for our fajitas, which was a first for anywhere we'd ever eaten. May try again one day, but would definitely try a different meal.

The food was good, but the service ok. They only had 2 servers, and our server was struggling trying to take care of her tables, that came across as rude

Just had my birthday dinner there, party of 15. The handled our group efficiently but gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Great food, awesome drinks, great servers and manager who kept the margaritas coming. They never fail to create an amazing experience!

I call this outstanding restaurant every couple of days as I like the good air that is outline this restaurant. The team is highly friendly and qualified. The service is awfully efficient. Needless to say, the food you get is exceptionaly good. I frequent many times and I was always delighted. The price is fair. I recommend this place to to everybody.

I don't know why we didn't come here sooner! The food was amazing, the drinks were strong and the staff was excellent. We left with a full belly and smiles on our faces!

Manager / Owner (?) Always says hi. Very nice and FUNNY!!! Staff is great. Tacos are awesome. Very clean as well. Give em a try even if for take out! We get lunch to go at work often.

We were very pleasantly surprised - We had dinner at Chaparral on a Saturday night, we got seated right away, the service was great - quick and friendly, and the food far surpassed my expectations! The portions are HUGE, everything was hot, fresh and very flavorful! Plenty of cocktail options and multiple margaritas to choose from! The prices were very reasonable as well! And I loved the decor of the restaurant! We will definitely be back on a regular basis! :)

The pineapple cut in half, then grilled and stuffed with chicken and shrimp was outstanding. I will definitely get this again.

This is a very nice place to eat. Great food! Large portions. Clean, well maintained. The people are very friendly. Couldn't ask for better service. Just a great place to dine out!
